The twill scarves are done! The stripey socks are done! A sweater is done!

Naturally the shot with all of them features a prominent alpaca hair on top of the middle scarf. Alas.
The warp is Harrisville Shetland, threaded in a point twill. The weft is (brown) Harrisville Shetland in Cocoa, (blue) Knitpicks Palette in Jay, and (variegated) Knitpicks Imagination in Unicorn (a perfect colorway, if you ask me.) I ran out of Shetland halfway through the first scarf, which was supposed to be all-brown. I ended up striping in the blue in a Fibonacci stripe sequence, and it doesn't look bad! This one was made for my dad.

The second one is my favorite. Too bad I made it for my sister and not me. The treadling is a combination of goose-eye and point twills. It's got sort of a blue shimmer. I love how the twisted fringe poofed up in wet-finishing, those fat little fringes are adorable.

The third one was when I paid my sacrifice to the yarn gods, because my warp threads started breaking and I'd used up almost all the Shetland, which made repairs rather difficult. So the tension is wonky and the selvages are weird. I'm going to give it to someone who won't notice. The treadling is a rosepath variation.

Knitting! I finished a sweater in green, which didn't flatter me AT ALL until I blocked it and changed the proportions somewhat. Much better now. The yarn is Knitpicks City Tweed DK in Emerald Isle.

And last of all, I feexed the socks. They sorta match now. Good enough for me.
